Dust education in Lansingerland

In 2012, Irado and municipal of Lansingerland launched an educational program at elementary schools in their region to teach how to handle dust and avoid waste. The purpose of this program is to get students interested and in a fun way raise awareness of waste reduction and waste separation. The classes are taught by ‘Koos the Garbage Man’. In addition, dust education lessons started in 2013 on secondary schools. Guest lessons are provided by “Stichting Milieu Dichterbij.”
